Juan is a professional musical theatre performer from Barcelona, Spain, disciplined in acting, singing and dancing. He started his training at age 14 at Coco Comin: School of Dance and Musical Comedyfor three years while he was finishing high school. As soon as he turned 18 Juan moved to Los Angeles with a scholarship to achieve a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and graduated Summer 2015 with honors. 
 
Juan has been privileged to work onstage with musicals all over the country. He’s performed in the acclaimed Lyric Opera of Chicagoin their production of WEST SIDE STORY conducted by Grammy Nominated James Lowe and directed by three-time Olivier Award winner Francesca Zambello. He was part of the Broadway bound out-of-town tryout production of EMPIRE THE MUSICAL, directed and choreographed by Tony Nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge, at La Mirada Theatre and has been involved in the project ever since.

New York credits include being part of the NBCU 2018 UPFRONT performed at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL with such performers as Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo…, the JEROME ROBBINS BROADWAY 30th ANNIVERSARY REUNION celebrated at the Guggenheim Museum, and part of the biggest Saks Fifth Avenue holiday window revealing event including 124 dancers performing on 5th avenue. He has performed in some of America’s leading professional Regional Theatres including: Tony Award Winning The Old Globe doing GUYS AND DOLLS directed and choreographed by acclaimed Drama DeskNominee Josh Rhodes,  Barrington Stage’s WEST SIDE STORY choreographed by Tony Award Nominee Robert La Fosse, worked two times at Asolo Rep Theatre including their sold out production of EVITA (also directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes) and this summer will get to work at The Muny (America’s Largest Musical Theatre, 11,000 seats). 
 
Juan won a 2016 INLAND THEATRE LEAGUE award and was recognized for excellence in theatre in the Performance Riverside production of BIG RIVER: THE ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN in the title role of Huckleberry Finn. Other awards include a 2016 SCENIE AWARDfor his Star Making Performance in WEST SIDE STORY. He was also nominated for two OVATION AWARDS for his work in EMPIRE and AMERICAN IDIOT.
 
Besides performing Juan keep making guest appearances at AMDA to talk about the business and inspire new and current students.
 
Juan is excited to continue to grow as a performer in the United States.
